Yamaha FJ1200 Parts To Sell

I'm selling off my stock of Yamaha FJ1200 spares. Most parts come from 1987, 1989 and 1993 bikes. Some aftermarket stuff too. I tried to price these things below what I saw them selling for online. All of this stuff would be pretty easy to ship. I'm in Los Angeles and have this stuff listed on LA Craigslist with pictures. Check them out here:

https://losangeles.craigslist.org/sgv/mpo/d/la-puente-yamaha-fj1200-parts/6784856345.html

#1) Carb Rack
A complete rack of carbs that came off a 1987 bike. The bike had a lot of 1989 parts so the carbs could also be from 1989. The carbs worked fine when I pulled them off five years ago. They just sat in a plastic tote since then. The only thing missing is two of the idle adjustment screws (took them out when mine mysteriously vanished). I'm asking $190 for the full rack.

#2) Gauge Cluster with 9,295 Miles
Everything worked when I had it on a bike a few years ago. There are a couple star cracks on the clear plastic that happened when it got banged around in a bag in storage. If your clear plastic is still good it's very easy to switch them (only 5 screws). $130.

#3) Gauge Cluster with 36,504 Miles
Everything worked when I had it on a bike a few years ago. There are a few scratches on the clear plastic that happened when it got banged around in a bag in storage. If your clear plastic is still good it's very easy to switch them (only 5 screws). It's also missing the little push button for the trip meter that screws off. $90.

#4) Clutch Master Cylinders (2)
These worked when I put them in storage a few years ago. They are dirty now from sitting around. Come with the levers. The only difference I can tell between them is the electrical connector on the bottom. One is definitely from a 1993 bike, the other is from a 1987 or a 1989. $40 each.

#5) Clutch Slave Cylinder
I don't remember the history of this. Better to rebuild it. $15.

#6) Brake Master Cylinder
This worked when I put it in storage a few years ago. Comes with lever and electrical connector. This is from a 1987 or 1989 bike. Dirty from storage. $40.

#7) Alternator
This worked when I took it off the 1993 bike a few years ago. $70.

#8) Starter
This worked when I took it off the 1993 bike a few years ago. $20.

#9) Coils
These are the coils from the 1993 bike. $15 each.

#10) ABS Control Unit CDI
This came off the 1993 bike. $25.

#11) Sifter
This is the shifter with accompanying linkage from the 1993 bike. $15.

#12) Handlebar Switches
Right and left handlebar switches (horn/signal and start/kill) from the 1993 bike. Not faded. Worked when I took them off a few years ago. $20 each.

#13) Handlebar Risers (tall)
These are about 1.5 inches taller then normal and point straight out (instead of the slight downward angle). I took these off 7 years ago but as I remember it they cleared the fairing of the 1993 bike without a problem. $30 for the set.

#14) Electrical Boxes
I have three little electrical units with pins coming out of them. Can't remember exactly what they do. I think one had something to do with fuel management. If you're looking for one describe it to me and tell me what you think it's worth.

#15) Fork Brace
I have a fork brace from RPM. It's a few years old. No major damage but there may be small scratches if you look close. It was originally black but faded to a metallic color. RPM price is $125 + shipping. I'm asking $80 with free shipping. Here's the RPM advert:

https://www.rpmracingca.com/proddetail.asp?prod=M%2FC%3AForkBrace

#16) Bar End Vibration Dampers
I have a pair of the tuned vibration damping bar ends from RPM. These have never been in a fall or scraped anything but there may be small scratches if you look close. RPM lists the pair for $112 + shipping. I'm asking for $70 with free shipping BUT I need your old bar ends so I have something to put on my bike. Here's the RPM advert:

http://www.rpmracingca.com/proddetail.asp?prod=M%2FC%3ARPMbarend

#17) Renntec Engine Guards
These are for the 1984-1990 FJ. They may have some small scratches when you look close. They come with the mounting bolts. Easy to install. Good peace of mind. $140 for the pair. Here they are listed at RPM:

https://www.rpmracingca.com/proddetail.asp?prod=84-90FJEB

#18) SyncPRO Carb Tuner
This is a glass tube, 4 piston carb tuner. Works very well. I used it to tune the FJ. It was in storage for a few years and the fluid ran out (only about $5 a bottle, or some people say you can use antifreeze). Normally $100 but I'm only asking $50. Here's the RPM advert:

Hi everyone. Sorry, I sold the risers. Here is an updated list with some lowered prices.

I'm selling off my stock of Yamaha FJ1200 spares. Most parts come from 1987, 1989 and 1993 bikes. Some aftermarket stuff too. I tried to price these things below what I saw them selling for on line.

#1) Corbin Solo saddle
This is an original from back in the day. Still has stickers underneath and feels very comfy. It extends the lines of the tail and looks beautiful. The space behind the riders is actually padded so a passenger CAN sit there if need be. I treated it with a high quality conditioner. There is a very small spot where 6 stiches came undone, otherwise it's perfect. $200.

#2) Carb Rack
A complete rack of carbs that came off a 1987 bike. The bike had a lot of 1989 parts so the carbs could also be from 1989. The carbs worked fine when I pulled them off five years ago. They just sat in a plastic tote since then. The only thing missing is two of the idle adjustment screws (took them out when mine mysteriously vanished). I'm asking $150 for the full rack.

#3) Gauge Cluster with 58,776 Miles
Everything worked when I had it on a bike a few years ago. There are a couple star cracks on the clear plastic that happened when it got banged around in a bag in storage. If your clear plastic is still good it's very easy to switch them (only 5 screws). $50.

I believe they are the same for all years.  If yours is worn there's an easy fix:

.                                 There is some good information regarding the pivot shaft problem. My shifter is also loose where it clamps to the splines of the shifter shaft.I have thought that I could use the cut off blade on my hand grinder to increase the width of the split in the shifter so I can clamp it down further .Before I try that I want to have another shifter in case I ruin the original shifter.

Hi everyone,

I sold it all but for these 3 things:

#1) Carb Rack
A complete rack of carbs that came off a 1987 bike. The bike had a lot of 1989 parts so the carbs could also be from 1989. The carbs worked fine when I pulled them off five years ago. They just sat in a plastic tote since then. The only thing missing is two of the idle adjustment screws (took them out when mine mysteriously vanished). I'm asking $100 plus shipping for the full rack.

#2) Gauge Cluster with 58,776 Miles
Everything worked perfectly when I took it off my bike a few months ago. This gauge has an ABS light and is from a 1993 bike. There are a couple star cracks on the clear plastic that happened somehow in storage. If your clear plastic is still good it's very easy to switch them (only 5 screws). $40 plus shipping.

#3) Gauge Cluster with 36,504 Miles
