Today is a bad day .I was going to buy a 1TX fj1200  i saw advertised .I called the guy and made an appointment that i should come and take a look at it it was a onehour and half drive from where i live.I jumped in my car straight awayand drove to look at it.When i had driven for an hour i called him again for further explanation about the address. Then he told me the bike was sold ! :good2: i told him that he did a deal with me just over an hour ago ,but he sayd that the one who bought the bike boght it unseen. I sayd thank you very much and what about informing me before he sold it? that's god moral. afterward i found out that he has a secret phone number .

So the next thing: i bought a complete gearbox and clutch from a guy on ebay I'm waiting for the package when i try to track it nothing has happened for many days. Then today he has listed the same gearbox again ! :diablo: he is not answering my messages looks like i have to take a tour to London on a visit :morning1:

Nah, dont go grouping everyone into the crappy actions of a few. I have had this sort of thing happen all the time when buying online, and then they tell me its sold. Its some total bulls***, but not a ton you can do if you dont know him. As for the Ebay guy, you need to report that stuff, and quick. You can get your money back, and even his e-store shut down. Youll still be out the part, but if you werent going to get it anyways, at least he gets hurt too.

Sounds like you dodged a shady deal on the 1TX. I'd chalk it up to good karma and move along. Good chance the bike was hot.

I got in contact with the ebay seller now and he told me he had made a mistake relisted the gearbox again .Still a little sceptic since when trying to track the package it has been laying in london since 25th of july crossing fingers...

I guess you are right .I should maby have checked a little bit more before rushing away in my car because the seller had no address or name only a phone number (wich i found out afterward was a hidden number). In the advertisement it was listed in a small city here in norway and when i called him first time he sayd that the bike was stored in Sweden for 15 years a little further away (i live in norway) the bike looked good in the pictures and was very cheap so  i was thinking it could be a good engine /parts donor bike, but none of the pics did show the license plates so i could not check the bike before i left.
