Finally someone has packaged the wrench sizes I always use on the FJ, in flex head ratchet style, without including any sizes I don't use.
And only $30 Cdn. So, $6 per wrench and no waste. It's always been a disappointment to see the sets go on sale at the tool outlets but they include at the least a 11, 13 and 15 I'd dump in the bottom of the tool chest, and they often don't include an 8 mm. There are some 8 & 10 nuts I've had to wriggle in a wrench on my finger tips to get to them so a ratchet end is great.

I stumbled over these at Royal Distributing in Guelph, ON.
If someone wants to see any images I refer to in posts, first check my gallery here. If no bueno, send me a PM. More than glad to share.

Good find on the wrenches.  :good2: :drinks:

Don't throw away your 13mm wrenches just yet. I want to say the passenger foot peg nuts require a 13mm wrench.

Also, don't know why, but as American autos go metric they seem to have a liking for 13 and 15 mm... :dash2:

Never seen 15 used but 13 is the 9/16 (not literally) of the metric world. 12,13, and 14 covering most mechanical components on cars.

I think they've simply gone to the next larger size from the existing 1/2 or 9/16.

I think my Nissans use the 13 and 15 frequently too.

Thanks for the tip Charlie.   :good2:  Zipped off to Royal Distributing in Whitby today and got the last two sets.  One for me and one for my brother and his KTM 690 Enduro.

Now to find a socket set that has only 10mm in 1/4 and 3/8 drive. But like 4 of each...
