Those are 38 mm carbs however the D-19A indicates those carbs have spacing set up for a suzuki gsxr 1100 or kawasaki KZ1100.the carbs with the correct spacing would be rs-38 D35-A or D35-K.Mikuni has a tuning guide with applications that you can download on line.

They were installed on a FJ1100, strange.....

I'll have to go measure to be sure.... Thanks for the heads up

QuoteIf the center spacing between the centers of your carbs #2 and 3 is 85mm, rather than the as supplied 93mm, two of the outside carbs will need to be unbolted and then slid in so as to align with the second set of provided securing points and then re-fixed. Due to limited demand for these carbs to suit 86-87 Yamaha FJ 1100 and 1200 engines along with some other applications with the 85mm centre measurement the factory no longer markets them assembled in this configuration thus requiring you the end user to make the adjustment and then re-synchronize the slides.

Yes Randy I would rather have a system with a collector like this.
For a few hundred bucks, I'm OK with the old school Yoshi system.

Tony Nicosia sent me a message reminding me about his collectors from the 1970's and 80's.
He was ahead of this time IMO, and to this day, a very nice man who freely shares his knowledge.

The header is on the way to JetHot.
It should be back in a couple of weeks.
I know it's not the best or the latest/greatest, but for the money, I'm pleased.

Broke the FJ12 out today, what a great machine.
Changes to this one will be limited, maybe EBC rotors as I prefer the "round" over the "pedal" or "wave" type.
And I might try and graft on the Cobra F3 slip ons from the FJ1100 parts bike.
This picture was taken on 03/18/2019 in Rocheport, MO. A small river (Missouri River) town, and that is usually the old ball field. The shelter shown in the aerial picture would be to the immediate left of bike. The Missouri River is in the bottom of the picture.
The river, it cometh.....

UPS came through today - JetHot OffRoad coated Yoshimura header is back home
QuoteWith superior thermal management and corrosion resistance properties that lower surrounding temperatures by up to 65%, protect from thermal oxidation, galvanic corrosion and the ability to withstand 2000°F surface temperatures, there is no question as to why Jet-Hot Off-road remains the industry leader in exhaust coatings

A few of the totes will come in useful. Found the NOS wiring harness which will not be used now. And a ton of other stuff that will.
