To get a correct answer you need to tell us the year of your bike and preferably a number of a part you need from the microfiche since there are multiple bearings in swing arm and linkage.

The swingarm pivot bushing and bearings are the same part number for all years of FJ 1100/1200. I have the width of the bushing written down at home, I will check when I get home this evening. I can't help on the diameter though. That didn't concern me much when I swapped swingarms. :pardon:

Sig details added.

I thought that all FJs had the same pivot width.  Currently have a 3CV frame that I'm using as a rig to mock up my build, but is probably too rough to make its way onto the final bike.

I had seen Marc's sit, but like to work in metric as the Japanese do

I'll have a stock swingarm out this weekend - I can take some measurements.  I also prefer to work in metric measurements when working on Japanese vehicles — I figure the blue prints for the parts, etc were metric from the get-go.  Marc preferred to work in English measurements - pretty sure it was what his machinist was comfortable working with too.  Drove him crazy on a project we were collaborating on!

Marc's measurement is correct. Or at least my measurement matches his. Converting to metric is not rocket science, there are thousands of apps that will do it for you.

Sorry, right after I posted previous post it came to my mind what you are looking for. But it seems one can't delete the post?

Yes, the FJ pivot tube is 246mm long. The swingarm itself measures 245mm without the end caps

End caps are 1mm - so 248mm total width.  The frame appeared to be approx 250 mm or so before tightening the pivot bolt to draw it in.

I'll get the other measurements later today.

OD is 24.97 according to my cheap calipers.  Bearings appear to be 25mm ID, 33 mm OD, and 30mm long.

Thank you.  So far as the od is concerned, could you please check the tube on the actual swing-arm, as I call the bit in the centre that the bearings run on the sleeve!
