Was at the Outdoor Adventure Show in Toronto yesterday.  If you like scuba diving or going on Safari, it was for you.  The only thing that piqued my interest was this item.  The SylvanSport Go.

A multifunctional trailer for hauling and camping simultaneously.  Has an 800lb deck capacity, but the length is listed as 81in or 84in (don't know why) and I have the FJ spec as a wheelbase of 58.7in and lenght of 87.8in.  So the length should fit.  But the max interior height is 48in while the FJ is 49in, and maybe a smidge higher on the centre stand - but you could always remove the windscreen. Hmmmm... It can also be used as... just as a trailer to haul stuff.

They retail for $13K-$15K here in Canada and I think they're a fairly new model so I will keep an eye out for used ones in the next few years.

No affiliation.  Just thought it was a neat idea who's time is overdue.

For that kind of money you could buy a small box trailer, outfit it with everything including AC.  Still have room for 2 bikes.  Look into what guys are doing for hauling to trackdays and races.  Can even buy one used that is already setup for around $4k USD....

My solution... Takes some getting used to, but it's very nice.

How many miles do you have on the new rig Rick?
The glass is not half full, it was engineered with a 2X safety factor.
