Yesterday my daughter and I did a short ride with one of the local American Legion Halls. A Banana Run.

The American Legion coordinates with one of the elementary schools. The children are given paper lunch sacks to decorate. Each child is also given a get well card to decorate and sign. The bikers bring sugar free candy and cookies. Each paper sack has the card, a banana and filled with candy and cookies. We loaded up and rode to the local VS hospital. We go room to room passing out the bags to the Veterans.
In the last photo. My daughter and I are at the far right.
I'm not the fastest FJ rider, I am 'half-fast', the fastest slow guy....

Fred,

Me too, as a vet, thanks.  What you did means a lot, there.
.
Cheers,
Red

P.S. Life is too short, and health is too valuable, to ride on cheap parade-duty tires.
