Wait for it...

It is the winter solstice for us here in the northern hemisphere. https://www.vox.com/2016/12/20/14027402/winter-solstice-2017

The shortest day of the year is tomorrow. That means the days grow longer and spring and summer are on the way. :good2:

The Aussies on the other hand, winter is coming...

Merry Christmas everyone.

Yup. This has always been my favorite day of the year. Hate the short winter days. From here on out the days are getting incrementally longer. Warmer riding weather is not far off here in Texas. Merry Christmas all.

A pistol is like a parachute, if you need one and don't have one you will never need one again.

Geeez, ski season is just getting started and all this talk about summer already.  Hold on to your horses for a couple of months if you don't mind.

I hear you. I used to live in a region that counted on big dollars each winter from people enjoying their winter recreation activities. A short or mild winter could sink seasonal businesses and then the weather was really not suitable for anything else so everyone suffered.
