I've talked about a rear facing 50cal for years, but it and a flame thrower would have some serious legal problems.  Much more "reasonable" would be a nozzle to spray out black paint if you thought the murderous driver behind was too close. :-)

Arnie - you just need an old school 2-stroke like a Kwacka H2 or Suzi T500 - built in smoke screen if you turn the oil injection up a tad :diablo: There might be a few issues with emissions control freaks.

I used to hear a good deal of bitching about that from some of my HD and Triumph riding pals back in the day, and my injection wasn't up all that high, running Si-7 in the ol' H2.

I'd tell them "If you can pass it, then you won't have to smell it."        :blum2:

I need to put that thing back together.

Anybody got an H2 frame?

No H2 frame, but I do have some thinwall plastic electical conduit.  Will that be flexy enough ? :-)

As for a 2-smoke being able to actually lay down a smoke screen, none of the 2-strokes I've owned have been anything like that after they were warmed up.
The Bultacos hardly smoked, if you used enough oil to make smoke then you'd foul the plug :-(. The yamaha RD350LC and TY350 were clean once warmed up as was the Suzuki RG500 ......except when you seriously opened the loud control.  Then the smoke would be evident :-) in your wake.  Trouble was you just couldn't keep the throttles open for very long on public roads :-)

Of course, by today's standards, the H2 frame is very flexy, but back in the day I never noticed it being that bad, despite the bad rap it got from all the moto rags.

It didn't smoke a lot usually when running the BelRay, but at WOT it would leave a serious haze.  At least the synth smelled better...     :i_am_so_happy:

My TS400 was the real smoker.
