Mine has a small bolt at the rear. Is this just loosened off a bit to adjust the chain while the motor is running? Thanks in advance...Barney

It hink all FJs have automatic adjusters as OEM.

FJ 1100, 1985, sold
FJR 1300, 2009

Yes, the adjuster is automatic and that bolt holds the springs in. No attention required.

If you loosen that bolt with the tensioner installed the spring inside will try to shoot it under the bench in your garage .....
