30 amp main fuse terminal replacement

I think I've got a problem with the fuse distribution block at the 30 amp main fuse terminal.     Can I simply cut the 2 wires going to this fuse and connect them to an aftermarket fuse holder like the one shown in the attached link?

Yes, nothing special about it.
The glass is not half full, it was engineered with a 2X safety factor.
