Spotted this one at http://www.theriderfiles.com/

Great site if you like racing history.

Great stuff.   :good2:   Having flashbacks from the 70's and 80's. I also have a ton of photos and slides from back then. I really should sit down some time and scan them and archive them on cd's.
Thanks...

Is that an 86 hiding behind the FJ1100.

I has a CB900F that looked exactly like the bike in front.

That appears to be a bikini fairing.  My guess would be a Suzuki GS-E.

how many FJ's in this shot from Larry Lawrence at the rider files?

I see 2... Eagle eye Dave, what you got.

no turns=no race....

I'm just sayin...nobody ever remarks "hey that girl sure has a nice boob.", No guy is ever satisfied with getting tagged out at first base, we want the whole package. Otherwise you just wake up in the morning unsatisfied and wanting something more.

I'm thinking 3 maybe...#173, #298, and #100

I used to think the same thing -- just wish I'd started drag racing sooner!

Very similar "games" - involving bike setup, mental preparation, and rider execution.  Fail at any one of those and you lose.

Dang, they all kind of look alike.

That appears to be the "Red Front Fender Class."

173 and 298 look like FJ1100's to me. 587, 6, and 84 are FZ's I am on the fence with 2X and 815 I believe those are VFR's but they also look a lot like FZ's...

here is another from the riderfiles...

Is that a case-saver? Or something to hold the pieces together if he bites it? Early RenTech? Big ass rear wheel, or lowered most likely, maybe both.
The glass is not half full, it was engineered with a 2X safety factor.

Steve Parish was 4th in the Production race at the Isle of Man TT 1984.

Complete with turnsignals. That's real Production Class.
