This coming w/e June 16-18/17 theres a coiple of things happening

The Vintage Grand Prix at Mosport (east of Toronto)

"...this year's feature events include the Canadian round of the 2017 Diamond Jubilee Formula Junior World Tour. This tour encompasses races in Europe, Australia, New Zealand and South Africa,... FIA Masters Historic Formula 1, celebrating the 50th anniversary year of the first F1 Grand Prix of Canada....

There also will be the MG & Triumph Challenge, including the Simms Cup Trophy for MGs and the Group 44 Trophy for Triumphs. And be sure not to miss the "Field of Dreams Classic Car Show," ... Other classes include Open Wheel, Historic & Vintage Production, Sports Racers, Group 70+ and Group 90+ for cars built between 1973 and 1995"

The CVMG National Rally in Paris.  "The theme of the 45th annual rally is "Triples""

What to do...?  Either Paris on Sat and Mosport Sun, or spend Sat/Sun at Mosport (it's less than an hr from my place with decent traffic...).  I'm inkling towards the Vintage GP at Mosport as I haven't been to once since Watkins Glen NY about 10yrs ago.  Send me a PM or reply here if anyone wants to hook up for either.

The rain forecast might make the decision for us. I am prepping as best I can to be able to go to Paris, weather permitting.

I rode a Yamaha Triple 750 for 8 years before the FJ. That was my first bike. Same weight, half the HP compared to the FJ! But I do miss that triple growl. There's no sound like 3 or 4 of those old 750/850 triples going through a tunnel together. The same kind of pleasure as hearing the Mynarski Lancaster doing a fly by with the four synchronized Merlins

I'll just have to wait to later in the week for a forecast. I would be going on Saturday. On Sunday they close it down starting at noon.
