Installed 1157 Brake Light Bulbs Today

A few years (or more) ago I bought a pair of 1157 LED bulbs for the brake light assembly. They just weren't that bright and there was little difference in intensity between the running and brake lights. While in the US this week I saw a pair of 1157 Red LEDs from Sylvania and I thought I would try them out. They cost $20 US at Wal-Mart so I figured it wasn't too much of an investment and if I didn't like them I would just return them - Wal-Mart is pretty good that way. I installed them this afternoon and must say I am pretty impressed with the brightness, viewing angle and difference in intensity between running and brake lights.

The overall performance is good and I'm looking forward to not having to replace brake light bulbs once or twice a year.
