I love it..it keeps you  fastened to the bike when you feed it the onions..

The more I look at the bike the more I want to strip it down and refresh all the painted parts. The frame is rusty under the clutch slave cylinder because it leaked on it and took the paint off.
I have a new chin spoiler and decals on the way.
The original one is in rough shape and has been repaired a few times from the look of it. I'm saving it as it's original to the bike.
I pulled the original exhaust system off to preserve it as well.
The only thing that will change are the engine covers. The clear coat is peeling off them.
I'm going to strip the paint, polish the bare aluminum and clear coat it.
My problem is..I know I'm going to end up getting them as shiny as I can...which wasn't original.
Will I get banned from the fj club for doing that?
