Hi I'm looking for a metric speedo cluster for a 88. Prefer Australia so freight isn't over the top. I'm really after the speedo so if you have one from a damaged cluster I'd be interested. Cheers

Someone having a speedo in good working order and wanting to part with it might be a bit of a stretch.
Have you considered taking it to an automotive instrument repairer?
Not sure where you are but I use Howard Instruments (Melbourne). You can mail items to them and they will quote.

Yes I thought it might be a long shot but there's always that cluster that's been damaged in a crash and possibly a good speedo. Fingers crossed. I'll have at look at that company you mentioned. It looks like the domed part near where the cable enters has been worn right through , not to mention the odometer drive is worn through too

You can consider going with a GPS speedometer. I know of at least 2 Forum members down under that have installed a Speed Hut GPS speedometer. They are often considered expensive, but then again, the cost is comparable to getting the OEM speedo rebuilt. Here is the Speed Hut GPS Speedometer installation file.

I may have a spare OEM speedo or two. They are in MPH though. KPH is printed inboard of the MPH numbers.
