It is the time of year again for the Renegade Rally. I will be again hosting the event based out of the RPM facilities on Oct 6-9th.

Thursday will be the ride in day and we will be riding on Friday and Saturday.

This weekend is followed by a legal holiday on Monday the 10th, so that will allow some an extra day off for some to travel home.

Just like last year, this again will be an all inclusive event with hotel and dinner served on the 7th & 8th. I will have tea, lemonade & water available. Bring your own sodas, alcoholic beverages, or you can purchase locally.

Hoping to be able to put together another raffle like last year as well.

You can leave your FJ's securely locked in the RPM shop at night.

There will be more details in the near future as I can start to a full grasp on the head count.

This is the official head count location as well and I will get it started.

Diane and I will be in Europe from 10/4 - 10/19, so can't make it this year.  Damned shame as it was my best rally experience so far.  Have a great time everyone!

Props to Randy for taking on the Renegade this year and elaborating on its format. Sign me up (albeit not a 100% sign up, but pretty close)

Unfortunately, I can not commit at this time. I will know more by mid September. I have a consulting gig which may put me out of town the first week of October. Key word being "may".
Hopefully I'll be able to swing it. I really had a good time last year.

The Raduechel family puts on a great event. It is A LOT of work.

I have a story about last year....
I opened up a side pocket in my tank bag last March, and bam..an eye watering smell hit me. :bad:

It seems that "Someone" from last year's Renegade Rally thought it would be funny if they put a pig's ear in there, zip it up, and (conveniently?) forgot to tell me....The damn thing was fermenting in my tank bag for 6 months.

I think I know who is was....They better hope I don't make it this year.

Not sure who put the ear in your bag but I have an idea why they chose an ear.

It was a great turnout last year. Hey! Didn't they see that it clearly says NO PARKING? What a bunch of Renegades....

No Parking --- how about the double yellow lines and 35 mph speed limit in the park ----- I think by the time we got to this point there may have already been a few transgressions.   But we did command respect as they graciously gave us an escort from the park that we didn't even have to pay for. Good times for sure and I hope to make it as well but can't commit either yet.

Was it as funny as a panic alarm at 2 AM under a bunk in Tellico? Hmmmmm?

We're not a club. Clubs have rules. Pay dues. Wear hats and shit.

Rock, that was not me....although the vision of 3 drunk guys in their underwear beating the cabin's smoke detector off the ceiling with a broom was PRICELESS!

A mouldy pig's ear does not compare.

The 2017 Renegade Rally is one month away.

I am going to need to get the head count nailed down soon.

I need the numbers so I can get everything I need. Tables, chairs, food. I also need to get the hotel rooms sorted.
