Looking for fuse cover on 85' FJ1100

Just joined and i'm looking forward to restoring and enjoying for many years to come. I live in Missouri though and plan on riding it in the mean time which means I need something other than duct tape to cover my fuse box. I was hoping somebody had one lying around I could purchase. I appreciate the help and look forward to getting to know you all.

True, but I buy a lot from Ebay sellers that doesn't ship to my country. Often, when you ask them they are willing to ship.

The fuse box cover seems to be as rare as the FJ1100 tank cap, so the above might be the only option apart from searching breakers.

Took the words right out of my mouth. If ever a part for the FJ could be made by a 3D printer, that cover is it. Not much to its dimensions and non-structural.
Now, back to looking under my car seats for the cover I misplaced 2 weeks ago. My car serves as my tool and parts bin next to the FJ since I don't have a garage, or a driveway, or . . .

$1000 didn't show up under my pillow for a 3D printer. However since I last posted, I spent $2 in spare change for a large plastic dust pan that provides enough smooth flat black plastic that will be used up in small tasks like covering up the exposed fuses. It just looked really bad without a cover.

That material is 2 mm thick, a smaller copy stacked under it so it doesn't buckle down when I secure the bolt (spare belly pan button head bolt). I could do another attempt to match up the profile corners better but once I fine sand the edges, in a week or so I'll have forgotten all about it, considering the state of the rest of the motorcycle's plastics.

Poway motorcycle has a fuse cover shown in box #75 on their used parts list.

I have purchased from this outfit a number of times. Bill, the owner is an old FJ guy and he always has a good selection of FJ parts.



The part is near the center of the photo, above the throttle tube. Also in the lower left corner is the hard to find. 1984-1987 chain slider/swing arm protector.

I was very luck and saw one turn up on flee bay. I bought it with out even a second glance at the $40 price tag (plus $15 postage to Australia from the US) I know how hard these little pits of plastic are to find. I like the 3d printer idea.

If I could borrow one I would reverse engineer it and create a file that can be 3D printed. Any one with a spare so I can measure and model?
