seat latches

hey all has anyone had any problems with the seat latches not retaining when riding. i cant pull the seat off when it is fitted but it unlatches when riding?? the po has pulled the lock from the right latch has anyone know if there is anyway i can fix this?

I was thinking about removing that lock from mine as its a PITA to get the key under the side bag without removing it which I don't want to do every time. If my seat is going to fall off then maybe I'll just deal with it for the few times I need to get in there.

let me do this...  attached is a picture of what I have.  I think the two pieces on the upper left are aftermarket bar caps.  I though that the parts on the lower section were one of the stock pieces. 

From the previous posts - I take it that none of these will actually work with the FJ and probably best to buy new parts... unless I want to buy the vibrator reduction ones.

Am i mostly correct?
