Busy week coming up so I packed up for the rally today--I've got:

*  Firewood  (what was in the earlier post pic) an Axe, a hatchet and a 24" rim (fire ring)
*  4 folding canvas chairs
*  A coffee pot----coffee, sugar, creamer & 14 'to-go' cups.  I've got a tent site with water and electricity,   so  I can get coffee going in the morning for anyone and everyone.  [I plan on grabbing breakfast somewhere before the ride but need my morning pot (of coffee) to get me there. ]
*  3 tarps and some 3/8" rope.
*  1 --  8'x 10' screen tent - in case we need some cover for gear or whatever.
*  chain lube, carb cleaner, spray cleaner/wax, dot 3 fluid, (couldn't find the dot 4) PB Blaster, Tri-flow lube.
*  2 clutch slave rebuild kits--
*  a roll of duct tape, elec.tape and some rags
*  1 first aid kit that I'm going to carry in my saddle bag. I carry windex and paper towel in my bag as well so it looks like clean visors all around.

I have my medical information form filled out--2 copies in my right inside pocket of my riding jacket.  (yup, that's a reminder to y'all.)

I can bring my mis-mash of tools--wrenches, sockets, etc.--and will--unless I hear that someone else that's also trucking to Bethel is bringing their tools.

I just got the Carb-ll syncronizer that I ordered in the mail on friday.  I don't know anything about it except that it says Carb-ll on the package. I didn't dare to try figure it out as I didn't want to push the 1 week before the rally rule, but I will have it with me at the rally if anyone wants to use it.

'Probable to Attend': Glenn, it sounds like you're going to make it--good!  Eric and Frank, hope to see you guys there too.

Let me know if there's anything else that I can bring.
Talk to you all soon,

Mark

Keep an eye on that trailer... make sure no one pisses on it*.     :biggrin:

The rack is all set.I'm bringing it to work to glass bead it and paint.I rode it this mourning and the jet change did the trick.Steady state cruise is smooth as glass now.
I got a light clunk when i put it up on the centerstand today.After a quick investigation I found out it was the front wheel bearings.So now both wheels are bearingless and in the back of the car.Luckily there is a bearing supply store next to the shop.I had planned on pulling the wheels and give them a quick balance if time allowed.This just forced my hand.

I plan on tenting at the group site.Do I need to get in touch with the camp ground,or can i just show up and pay the fees?

We are having an open house at the shop the following weekend,and I will be there both days.It will be nice to relax around a fire,and cruise thru the mountains.

Hey Glenn, There is no need to contact the campground if you are going to stay at the group site.  I've already paid for the Group site --$70 / night -- you can catch up with me there.

looks like the heat and humidity will be staying with us this weekend.

but the weather looks pretty good so far.

I also see the New England Forrest Rally (car pro-rally) is headquartered at Sunday River Resort about ten or fifteen miles from our campground.It is a Friday/Saturday event.I'm trying to get a good schedule of events for Saturday.Maybe we can see a stage or two late on Saturday.The afternoon stages look like they are maybe forty or so miles north of the campground.

Travis398

so it is finally over, but we had a good time

does someone have this shot with Nobby?
