I'm going to have to play it by Ear NOrbert..... right now it's hot as hades and my phone is ringing off the hook.... if it stays this way i may have to stay here in G'boro and work instead of riding up..... i hate it but Summer is my money time and i cant play without money..... :dash1:

I'll let you know after next week.

Just wanted to make sure you guys know that it costs $14 per bike to climb MT. Washington.

and only 2 people seem interested in T-shirts.

 Travis,
Well, sign me up for 2 shirts then. I'll need a clean one for special occasions. And I think the $14 toll pales in comparison to the set of track day tires you will need for the mountain. I am freaking out about the stuff I need to get ready in the next 2 weeks( but in a good way)- anybody else?

We will be riding the mountains in two weeks  :yahoo: The first NEFJ rally is almost here I hope all of you are getting ready. As I said before I'm bringing a enclosed trailer so if any body needs food, beer, gear, or what ever brought contact me. I can't wait lots of FJs in one place  :i_am_so_happy:

Hush your mouth Travis. No, it will rain all week while I'm doing the last minute maintenance outside.

Travis398

isn't there an unwritten rule that you don't work on your bike the week before the rally?

Whats your point?

He just doesn't want you to end up like this at the rally:

carsick

Ah, but you see to end up like that AT the rally I would have to get past that point so I could GET to the rally. No worries though, she runs fine. Just cosmetics and figuring out what to lug and how. Yeehaa- It's almost rally time!

I've been working on my ride steadily for the last three months to get ready.I almost feel comfortable riding it a few hundred miles from home now.I did spend a few hours making a rack to carry my tent and folding chair today.I'm going to pack it up and test ride it tomorrow.I think I have gotten the last of the rust out off the tank finally.I am hopeful that I have gotten the cleanliness and jetting spot on now.I have gotten very efficient at removing, cleaning, and reinstalling the rack of carbs.
I am looking at leaving work in Manchester at around 4 pm on Friday. That should get me into West Bethal safely by 8 pm.I mapped out a route that avoids most of the highways.Looks like about 25 miles on rt.16 will be the closest to highway driving.
