i should have specified, that in order for you to tent for $7 it has to be on the group site, which has no power.

if you choose to rent the camper that sleeps 3, stay at a site with power, a site for campers, rent one of the few condo rooms, or stay at the hotel, those places will be extra and you will have to call to reserve your own spot, and probably have to pay an additional $7 for the group site.

i believe all the prices have been posted in an earlier post by Mark,

thanks, Mark

I have added a "North East Summer Rally" page to the http://www.FJRally.com website and made the necessary updates.  Those that plan on attending or are "probable" to attend, please help me out and sign up on this page: http://www.fjrally.com/10NER.html  so I don't have to sort through posts and try and figure it out!   :good2:

Thanks Marsh for all your work and help  :good:

 :greeting:   hey guys.

i talked to the campground owners again yesterday and i guess there will be plenty of picnic tables set up under a large tent that we would be welcome to use.

i believe there will be picnic tables on our site too.

they have food prep areas also (although i didn't get the specifics of that) but that would cost some sort of a rental fee, or we could pay them more and they would

prepare the food for us.

so i know a few of you guys were volunteering and talking about bringing stuff for the feast, do we have that all worked out?

i have to be honest with you guys, you don't want me in charge of the food thing, i have been known to go a couple days with out eating.

and around here my wife is the expert of cooking, so pop tarts is the extent of my cooking abilities.

when we rode up to check out the campground  we had lunch at the brewery, the food was good and the beer was better.

so that is an option if people forget to bring the BBQ Lobster.

i know we have plenty of time but we should be thinking about this before it is time.   :drinks:

I can bring a propane grill to the campsite. My cooking abilities are limited to hot dogs and hamburgers.  For a three course meal, I would add your choice of potato chips or Doritos.  That said, I eat quite a bit. (wife very good cook) I'm not fussy, I can eat the same thing everyday, so what ever everyone wants is fine with me.

I was thinking breakfast (I don't care if it's just an egg-a muffin at a convienience store)on the road and lunch on the road.  Barbque at the campsite at night?  If we BBque at night, we'll have to find something that goes with beer.  :rofl2:

I'll go along with anything--I'll eat a tankbag of snickers if I have to.

Anyone know what the usual FJ rally dining routine is?

well i think your three course meal sounds pretty good to me, burgers and hot dogs are obviously the quick easy thing.

finding a place for breakfast is probably a good idea, even if it is just breakfast sandwiches.

I'm not real big on breakfast so i could go with or with out. i was thinking we will be hitting the road at 9am

so it should give everyone time to catch a bite to eat before we leave.

we will be stopping for lunch, and it will not be fast food. i have to have my steak and potato's.   :good:

this will also give us a little while to rest the back and arms.

That sounds good to me.  Stopping between runs is definitely part of the fun.

That sounds good to me as well.  How does one wake up so early without an alarm?  :rofl2:
