G'Day,

My name is Tony or TeeCee as I was more commonly known in the yahoo FJ Group.

I live in the Whitsunday's in North Queensland Australia. I joined the Yahoo group in 2005 when I owned an ex- race 1984 FJ1100. I spent two years restoring it to immaculate condition and then in a moment of absolute madness sold it Last August.

I had some fun on that bike and as the saying goes "You don't truly appreciate something until it's gone". That bike had some grunt (137RWHP) and has left me with some fabulous memories.

I currently am down to two bikes, a 1969 Honda CB350, which I've had since 1978, and a 1993 Yamaha YZF750. Over the years I've had too many bike to mention but being a "fussy prick" tend to spend more time restoring/cleaning/polishing them than actually riding them !

I have this strange feeling that another FJ may be on the cards, in the meantime hopefully you will allow an "FJ less" member to lurk.

Kookaloo,

TeeCee

G'day TeeCee,

As someone on the old FJ site once said "once an FJ'er, always an FJ'er" or something like that!!! ::)

Cheers Brother.....

Consider this. I have never owned an FJ. Dean brought me along to my first rally as his comic releif side kick, and I just wont shut up.

TeeCee, welcome back. Or again, whatever.

Bill, it ain't the bike that counts...it's the attitude. You've got an FJ soul, and that's what matters, dammit.

Tony, welcome back!  Too bad about the FJ.  For those of you that don't know, Tony had one of those RARE factory racing FJs.  Lots of cool stuff done to the engine.  How many of those were made again?  Like less than 50 or 100 or so?

Hey TeeCee,

least ya still got a yamaha...... ;D

even if it is one of those slow ass 750s   ::)

 G'day Frank,

Slow ass 750 Huh  ;D.

Yep, faster than a "stock" FJ in a package that's at least 50kg lighter that just loves the twisties.

Not the same "character tho'  :'(

G'day TeeCee, nice to "hear" you back on.  Didn't know you had sold the old beastie.  Oh well, ya know that hindsight thing. I've never owned one of those CB 350s but have a bunch of miles on the 'em, including the SL model that they didn't make very long.  The 750 will keep you entertained and I agree the lighter weight is a nice thing.
