Hello Folks,
Any members near San Antonio? My son is moving there in the fall and I'm trying to advise him if he should take the '85 with him.

James it depends on how he is going to use it. My niece lives in San Antonio and says the traffic congestion is bad and only going to get worse. I would not recommend using a bike for daily transportation in that mess. I ride mine in Ft worth and the surrounding metro mess but avoid Dallas because of the terrible traffic. If however if he is only going to use it for recreation mainly outside the city that would be better. You might consider posting this question on Two Wheeled Texans (twtex.com) and I am sure you would get some feedback. I am a member of Two Wheeled Texans and they are a very large social group encompassing all types of bikes and riders. They have a very good website. There is a large contingent of twtex in San Antonio who are very active.    Dave
A pistol is like a parachute, if you need one and don't have one you will never need one again.

Thanks Dave,
I'll pass that information along.

I know that just west of there is the Texas Hill Country and some of the best motorcycle riding roads the state has to offer. I know many riders that I work with here in Kansas that have gone down there just to ride over a weekend.
