Magic bike am Rudesheim

Today is the start of Magic Bike in Rudesheim. It runs for 4 days and is only about a 30 minute ride from here. I guess I don't have to tell you I will be with the old beast for the next few days.

Well I made it down there yesterday. There were only about 2000 bikes there. I did not see another FJ but it was crowded and traffic was a mess. I usually don't like big crowds but the old beast drew lots of stares and questions. I will say that I had a pretty good time. I'm not going anywhere near it this weekend. From what I was told, they are expecting to have about 30,000 bikes there. They are going to close the B42 (main highway along the Rhein) and make everyone use back roads.
