Bike's all loaded, ready for departure tomorrow morning. Meeting up with Johno and Troy, just up the coast from home. They'll escort me for a while, maybe up to Kangaroo Valley or a bit further. Spending tomorrow night at my son's place, out on the Wombeyan Caves road. Leaving there Thursday morning, heading for Inverell via Bathurst, Mudgee, Merriwa, Nundle, Walcha and Uralla. Friday morning, to Richards place via all the back roads I can find.
See you all Saturday.
   Regards, Pete.  :drinks:

Have fun Pete, sounds like a great ride and a great weekend. If it was just one day's riding closer.........

"Jools, my rough plan at the moment is going via Goulburn to Bathurst, "

Hi Pete, don't get lost on your way to Bathurst, and don't ask me for directions. You know where I will end up.
Be good

Big thanks to Richard for hosting this shed day, it was a great day and actually standing room only with quite a few new faces turning up. New tyres were fitted, shims checked, timing advances done, and carbs synced.

The General finally got his bike going after sitting for quite a few years, and sorry Doug for forgetting and then running out of time to do your timing advance mod, next time.

It was great to finally meet Pete and luckily him and Richard didn't drink all the FJ brew the night before so there was some to try out with the BBQ lunch. A very nice drop indeed that was icy cold and went down very well with the chicken wings and snags. It was good to catch up with everyone again and meet some new faces. These shed days should happen more often. A few more pics.

Too young to be old but old enough to know better.

That's a bloody good turn out. And the weather was much better than down here.

I hope you missed it all on the way up Pete.

Managed to get the cylinder head off old smokey yesterday, but you can read about that else where.

Thanks Richard for your hospitality.. Your home made beer is  worthy  of any  beer competition,...
Later you and me will talk about that.  i want to make it.
Good to meet the new folks and good to catch up with our old mates.
Thanks Tony (bones)  for the  pics and commentary.

As far as im concerned , these should be a every 3 month affair with some compensation to the host.
By the the way those chicken wings were grouse.

Haha Ken, haven't heard that word for decades, they must have been good.
