Hi all, my right indicator lens fell off my 89 while riding the other day. I was able to miraculously find it by retracing my ride but alas a car must have driven over it and it's a little worse for wear. Partzilla says the part is obsolete. Looked on eBay but only found expensive(shipping from the UK) replacement ones. Has anyone had good results with replacements? I'm worried about fitment and colour. Does Randy carry them? Any thoughts would be appreciated.
Thanks
Andrew

?! maybe a pair of brain cells ...

Avationfred found some over seas but they seemed a bit costly. But since they are no longer in production and not easy to find new or used it may be your only choice. I could end up with the same problem on my '89.

the 1988-1990 front signal lenses are difficult and a bit more expensive than the other 1200's. I have no idea why.

For new, this is your best bet. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Indicator-Lens-Front-R-H-Amber-Yamaha-FJ-1200-3CV1-1200cc-1988-1989-/400953950203?hash=item5d5ab7bffb:g:wR4AAOSwLVZVnekD&vxp=mtr

Thanks for the replies gents, thank you Fred the Bitzforbikes eBay one. That looks like the most reasonable cost effect route. Will give that a shot.

Cheers Andrew
