I have not posted a picture in a long time so I hope it will all work out, I must admit that its a pain in the seat doing so. You folks who know this famous Yamaha will know that it was bullet proof and very fast in its hay day. Its a 1985 Yamaha SRV which for me stands for " Stevie Ray Vaughan Machine". Compared to the new machines its a dynosor kind of like our FJ's but this sled is easy too work on and has enough power to cause bones to brake. It was a 540 two stroke twin with a single carb and is good on fuel for the output. They also had a Vmax sled that used the same tough strong long lasting 540 engine, I love this old sled, its hard on the body but the fun factor is in spades! Bring on the snow!!!!

I think this new triple
has a lot to offer those seeking the classic lines missing in so many modern so called retros......

That bike looks like an RD on top and FJ 09 on the bottom with a euro styled bikini fairing, there is worse out there! Probably same triple as the 09 and that new anniversary side by side, its huge, reminded me of those old VW dune buggies people would make years back. I would love to try that bike out.
