   I agree..it makes sense...i should get the 4/1 carb jetting squared away first. thanks again.
89 FJ1200 saphire.blu owned 8-9 years.  By far the most satisfying of them all. Constant tinkering got me the best bike you could ever want.

Yes, it is a bit less efficient.

I noticed a DEFINITE tendency to rev a LOT faster after I installed the V&H advancer on my '90.... 1st time I ran her she bounced off the rev limiter becasue I wasn't expecting her to rev so quick.
