Brake fluid damage

Tried all above, even found cans of Ford Argent Silver, wasn't happy with results so I cheated, took the pieces off and got them matched at SCS.
They look good and they have paint left for other parts.

Should I have done sidestand?

Just have to keep a check on leaky seals

I think the sidestand is chromed, so a buff might bring it back. (PO painted mine black)
