Dave Carpender contacted me and was kind enough to take the time to upload some "New" pics from the 2002 East Coast Fall Rally to the http://www.FJRally.com site.

cool stuff, but I just noticed the lack of 2003 fall rally pics (my first).

I was so happy, until I was not. :nea:

Well - do you have any pics from that rally?  Let me know and I'll create the category!

No I don't, unless you count a few Killboy pics of my Honduh. But I have the memories....Dean riding nekkid across the Dragon, Carey going over 5,000 RPM on his ZX9, Frank willing to ride with me, Good times.

LOL i hear ya Bill.... i like riding with you because you are always looking out for my well being....and you <being the master multi-tasker that you are>  manage it while we ride !

By checking the tread depth of my rear tire at the apex of all the right hand corners you assure i wont run out of rubber before we make it back to camp and my chain tension on the left handers so i dont get excessive sprocket wear... shit bro you da man!   :gamer:....

those runs across the cherohala and 28 down to Franklin sure are fun aint they?

however i am sure there is still at least one police man somewhere near RObbinsville that would love to catch me doing something wrong (who me? i saw a policeman pull Nobby over but i never had a police car directly behind ME!) so i need to..... no HAVE TO control myself when down there......  you fast guys will have to run without me contributing to your delinquincy(sic)    :flag_of_truce:

i used to ride down there before it all went to shit with harleys and police..... 55mph legally on the dragon and if you saw another bike coming towards you you knew the guy riding it was under control.... ahhhhhhh those were the days!

KOokaloo! (for riding where the assholes aint)

Dean,
This is a little late, but Dave is about to finally be back on the road.  I did a major rebuild of his FJ a few years ago after sat dormant for about 5 years.  Unfortunately after the rebuild he didn't get to ride much and the carbs got gummed up beyond repair.  He purchased a new set from Randy and emailed me about 2 weeks ago that the FJ was purring like a kitten and he was going to dedicate more time to riding this year.  I hope he can follow through and maybe even make an appearance at a rally this year.
