Swingarm upgrades

I see quite a few swingarm upgrades, mostly either Thunderace or FZ1. Does anyone know if a YZF750R swingarm has been successfully retrofitted to the FJ or even the early to mid 90's FZR 1000 swingarm? I know of the usual things that may need modification such as the width at the pivot, shock linkage interface and sprocket alignment. Just wondering if one of these has been done and if so, some explicit directions and information on just what does need to be done and which parts (bearings, bushings, etc.) work. In either case, I would likely be looking at "same donor" rear wheel, caliper, etc.

Pretty sure the YZF750R swingarm is the same as the ThunderAce swingarm. 

The 87/88 FZR1000 swingarm is almost identical to the FJ swingarm - so not worth doing. 
The 89+ FZR1000 swingarm "flares out" a lot behind the pivot and hits the sideplates on the FJ -- can be done if you cut the entire aft part of the sideplates off - and may have to change the rear brake light switch for more room.

FZ1 and ThunderAce are easy enough to make the hunt for them worth it.

The YZF750R swingarm is considerably different than the Thunderace swingarm. The Thunderace arm is most definitely very close to the early FZ1 swingarms in that they are both single beam type arms, but the 750R used a trussed, or top braced type arm. It looks like the biggest issue might be clearance (or lack thereof) between the bracing at the arm pivot end and the lower tubes of the rear frame section. That is why I'm curious if this has ever been attempted.
