Let's allow 4 hrs to get to Pete's. Then.. :drinks:
Troy, it's a pretty easy 3 hour ride from your place. That'll give you an extra hour for  :drinks:

3 hours ride at your pace Pete ??

Today:
drop oil, changed clutch, fitted bigger oil cooler, oil filter and replenish oil.
Air box out (5 minutes - don't know what you girls are bitching about  :pardon:) dual pods on.
And off for a test spin - no oil leaks . Just about ready to go now.

Troy - I'll be at your place around 9.30 - 10am Wednesday.

Yeah, it's and easy 3 hour run from Troy's to my place. You would even have time for an oil top-up in that time allowance.
You'll find the pods will make working on the FJ's engine so much easier. Troy left for the US this morning, he'll be back home on the 18th.
Regards, Pete. :good2:

Been lurking in the weeds for a bit......I was hoping to be able to sneek over there for a couple of weeks just for this and see my old friends......sorry middle aged friends  :mocking:....even bought another bike and named her "Snowy"...just for this venue..........have lots of fun...and lots of Tequila  :drinks:

Kev

....I was even planning to bring a few lines of snow  :wacko3: .......even though we haven't had any this winter !!

Looks good like that. I'd have tried to hide the bottle, but there's not a lot of "hiding" room on these.
What's the legal situation wrt having giggle juice on the street?
Guess your hand is all better now and you can hang on.

Cheers,
Arnie

Hey Arnie.....Hey Rich......good to see you fellas....miss you both ....very much.... :bye: ..... The bike was first modded for drag racing and managed high 9's with the giggle gas.....but I bought it last  year from the performance shop who bought the bike from a good friend of mine a few years back and the nitros has been removed.....and I have yet to go to Ottawa (a 10 hour round trip....but I will likely make it an over nighter) and pick Snowy up. She is in storage for the winter and these photos are of her waiting for me to take her home......so I will head out there to get her sometime in April. The bike is supposedly very street friendly but I won't know what adjustments (if any) I will make, until I can sing "just out for rip are ya bud....just out for a rip....")  :good2: .....I am dying to take them both out.....miss riding.
The wrist is 100% Arn.....and has been for a while....it was the left shoulder that took a year to finally get back to normal......that was a real head scratcher   :scratch_one-s_head:  but everything, including my golf swing is as good as ever.  :i_am_so_happy:
Has anyone named this Rally yet?
I will be around more now that the dust in my life has finally started to settle.
Good to hear from you  :drinks:

I have to inform everyone going to the Rally that I have F#cked up big time.

I was going to this rally on the basis that it didn't clash with the Barry Sheene Festival of Speed.......................well I realised yesterday that it does and I'm one unhappy MoFo. For some reason I still had it down as the previous weekend, what a numpty.
And since I have already paid up my entry fee for the race I can't afford to give it away (No refunds)

I think I need to go and lie down quiet somewhere and change my valve stem seals...........

At least I got everything done to the bike (well almost)

Apologies to everyone I'm letting down and the missing smoke screen.  :flag_of_truce:

Arnie

Sorry to announce a drop out for the Rally.
My wife has decided that she doesn't want to go.  I could repeat her stated reasons, but why?  Result is the same.
Anyhow,
I have a self-contained cabin booked at the caravan park next door to the Snowline Hotel at Harrietville.
Is anyone looking for accomodation that would like to share the space and the cost?

*Note: I have been told I snore, bring earplugs.
Cost is $110/night for the cabin, so 1/2 that ($55/night) would be your share.
I would prefer a young, pretty, sexually adventurous, female.   (but I'll consider others  yes )
PM me if interested.

Arnie

Well, yes you did Jools but I happen to know Barry won't be upset if you don't go, unlike the rest of us! (Have fun, it looks like a great event)
