I run a 180/55-17 on my 17" x 5.5" with no steering issues or chain clearance problems. The Conti Motions that I currently run seem narrow compared to the Dunlop Q2 rear, I needed a 170 Dunlop  to clear the chain. My front is 17" x 3.5 with a 120/70-17, when both are fresh the steering is very neutral and light. Here is my last rear tire... 2700 miles.

I agree this bloke's a waste of breath, but on what grounds could you possibly expel him?

The bar on what is acceptable behaviour on what can be said about members on line was lowered into the sewer last week with comments like this:

I gave you some advice and you glazed right over that telling me you were joking. but you still had to give the underhanded Klavdy question yet Flynt was man enough to call you a prick directly. There have been many others who address you directly and according to you even so direct they PM you, yet you still keep doing the same thing.

Over at psychobike.com they have a "smack shack" section where those that enjoy this sort of thing have a place to air it out or start shit or trash talk or most anything else. 

Maybe we ought to have a section like that -- and if it starts outside that area the mods can throw it in there and those that wish can pursue it while those that don't can continue with the thread at hand.

  FJ Monkey has always been kind to me and has helped me out as many others have for our old but still great bikes. What I got out of all this is Mark turns some serious flipping corners and some very helpful tires sizes that will fit with the 5.5 inch wheel up grade. The reply from Art the fuckhead is just that, some little boy with too much time on his hands who was never raised right from his parents. I dont appreciate pieces of shit spewing shit on good folks. Thats my micro rant, I had too, sorry.
