I run a 180/55-17 on my 17" x 5.5" with no steering issues or chain clearance problems. The Conti Motions that I currently run seem narrow compared to the Dunlop Q2 rear, I needed a 170 Dunlop  to clear the chain. My front is 17" x 3.5 with a 120/70-17, when both are fresh the steering is very neutral and light. Here is my last rear tire... 2700 miles.

Just like an ASSMONKEY. Add nothing of relevance to help the OP and turn this into a post about you and your piece of shit burned out tire.

Umm, could we maybe not do this here?

Unless you're just joking around that is...... :drinks:

Doesn't matter. More than likely reincarnate as H.E. Pennypacker anyways. This member has a point to make, regardless.

I agree this bloke's a waste of breath, but on what grounds could you possibly expel him?

The bar on what is acceptable behaviour on what can be said about members on line was lowered into the sewer last week with comments like this:

I've found Noel to be quite the prick as well.......but generally comes across as awash in his own bullshit......although he's an abrasive bloke at times for sure......some complete BS.......and other stuff to generally take offense at.....

Others joined in and the regulators endorsed it with their silence.

You can't have two sets of rules...........? Perhaps, heaven forbid, some are more equal than others after all.

I'd get rid of this guy in a heartbeat and whatever reason you use to pull the plug, it can't be taking the moral high ground. Applying recent standards, what he said wasn't even nasty or personal.

BTW, what happened to the revelation it was Klavdy?

Noel, look at Art's previous posts....all 4 of them. Do you see a pattern?  I do.
Do you see where Art has contributed anything to this forum? I do not.

So you ask:
What's the difference between Art's posts and the (hurtful) opinion expressed by other forum members? (Remember Noel you opened the door on that one)

My answer is, everyone is entitled to their opinion and this is a free fire zone. *However*

Here's my point Noel: When your *only contribution* on this forum is to bag on one of our brothers, I will take exception.

When Art Vandelay, or what ever the fuck his name is, get's banned, I will enter the IP adresses of all his equipment used to access our forum.
He will not be able to simply create a new account under a different name....unless he buys a new computer.

Not so, the bloke whose inappropriate remarks I was responding to opened the door. I was just trying to close it before too much "hot air" got through but was no match for its force.

I failed  :cray:  I haven't felt this bad since being passed by a Harley through some high speed corners a while back.

Noel

based on the above post are you joking or offended?

Either way here is my advice again from the previous topic that offended you
Quote from: copper on August 09, 2015, 11:03:16 AM
But you have no issue getting your under handed jab/dig/poke in when it suits you.

"Ok some more equal than others"

Time to look in the mirror and take to your own advice
You just cant listen can you or maybe it is just how you read into everything and you let your feeling get hurt. I gave you some advice and you glazed right over that telling me you were joking. but you still had to give the underhanded Klavdy question yet Flynt was man enough to call you a prick directly. There have been many others who address you directly and according to you even so direct they PM you, yet you still keep doing the same thing.

I am speaking directly to you as I know you are in the "room". You see Noel when I have something to say to someone, just like Flynt I wont use some underhanded indirect comment. I also used emoticons below, so you can be sure that I am not joking

It is time for you to shut the fuck up unless you are giving us ride reports or tips on how to polish, those seem to areas where you have full confidence and dont get offended

Over at psychobike.com they have a "smack shack" section where those that enjoy this sort of thing have a place to air it out or start shit or trash talk or most anything else.

Maybe we ought to have a section like that -- and if it starts outside that area the mods can throw it in there and those that wish can pursue it while those that don't can continue with the thread at hand.

FJ Monkey has always been kind to me and has helped me out as many others have for our old but still great bikes. What I got out of all this is Mark turns some serious flipping corners and some very helpful tires sizes that will fit with the 5.5 inch wheel up grade. The reply from Art the fuckhead is just that, some little boy with too much time on his hands who was never raised right from his parents. I dont appreciate pieces of shit spewing shit on good folks. Thats my micro rant, I had too, sorry.
