Perfect weather arranged via local call as usual.   http://www.bom.gov.au/jsp/watl/rainfall/pme.jsp?ref=ftr
(Notice how the rainfall is all around except where we are for Friday, Sat & Sunday!...I put in extra request for the Glass house views to be totally Fresh, Crisp & Green!)...like this bit opposite our Brekky Venue:-

Awesome Saturday Brekky table count, I have at 18 presently. (plus two maybe`s to be confirmed by Friday)

Post or contact me if there are any extras or apologies please.  :drinks:

Well, I've decided to stay overnight and will be sharing a cabin with Stu and Andrew. Not sure if Andrew snores or not, but between me and Stu i reckon it'll sound like a chainsaw convention inside that cabin later that night

I'll bring some earplugs for Andrew just in case.

It's a bike ride not a chainsaw event.... I have ear plugs, but might have to sleep with the brain bucket on...

All good - looking forward to the whole weekend!:morning1:.

Here`s a little tickler for those debating on staying overnight.

You won`t hear any snoring and it will be a peaceful sleep, cause we are isolating the 2am World Cup Rugby fans to the screen in the soundproof kitchen.  :good2:

Playing our lovely mates from across the ditch in the World grand final at Tickenham (London), will be nice.

Of Course it will be a friendly game :  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T79wUUhiKXk

Well, another Muster done and dusted, and I gotta say the popularity of this event is growing every year with more FJ's than you'd probably see at some rally's. The meeting place for brekky had fantastic views and great food as well. Troyski and a mate turned up and I think he was surprised at the number of FJ's in one spot, nice guy by the way.

Great to meet the famous Steptoe, his wife, and his sidekick Errol from XS1100 fame, Heckel and his Frankenstein FJ and also fb747 Ben.

The ride was absolutely fantastic, great views and curves galore that never fail to please, especially going up the obi obi range that's one way only so there's no fear of something coming the other way. Ricks garage is a great place for lunch with good food and plenty of it, but the best bit is at the end of the day when you can sit back on the veranda of the pub and have a "few" drinks and talk about the day.

Not sure if there'll be a video this year, as stupid me deleted the footage from the front cameras card before saving it to the computer :dash2:. Saved the footage from the back camera and hand held so have to wait and see what it looks like. Didn't get many pics but here they are.

Thanks Bones, The General, Stu and ALL involved in a truly great weekend -I  had a blast. Hope all have made it home safe and well!

Have cleaned the bike & removed rear Spring, hoping for some advise on the best course of action - me and mechanical thing don't gel.... I can pull things apart & sometimes put them back together, but that's about the extent of it. :dash2:

Sitting back enjoying a beer, reviewing the posts, photos and pondering the mods to come...

I feel privileged to be part of an absolute fantastic mix of people.

OH,  forgot - the chainsaws were only in Idle mode last night - despite the earl plugs... :yahoo:

Cheers til next time
Andrew

Great day, Wish I had of spent the night.

Dougy (my general my general) mentioned to me and its a valid point.. "why don't we do this every weekend"  that's how good it is.......

Once a month would be perfect I  reckon.  No need for a sleep over but its only a 350  to 500 k ride all up for the bulk of us and don't forget our xs1100 mates.

They're our fj's  grand fathers after all.   Got to admit though they sure get up and march along for big old fellas. . Cant wait till the next one...

So glad you made it Ken. Those XS1100 models are surprising indeed. Trailers, Pillions nor sidecars seem ta slow them down much!....in fact the rider towing the "Keg" has personally completed 336000klms worry free without even unbolting the head for a check. (Wish I`d taken a pic of his Stainless Steel wing on the back for high speed towing.)   :drinks:
