Just don't add any friction modifiers to your FJ or any other wet clutch bike... Your clutch may not like it... :bad:

The fuel additive might be nice, as long as it doesn't turn out to be snake oil....
The glass is not half full, it was engineered with a 2X safety factor.

Yes Paul, I still do a bit of restoration work on 80 and 90 year old engines and I'm always interested but, IMO  while keeping an open mind, I don't see anything new here.
There are a few things that worry me about products like this. Firstly, if it really worked as claimed, big business would have either bought him out already or taken a contract out on him.

The jargon and the "science" change to reflect the times but the spin and the claims have been the same for the last 50 years.

I can remember seeing ads on TV when I was young of cars purportedly driving flat out around race tracks, hour after hour, with all the oil drained from the engine and transmission, relying solely on the residue of some wonder oil treatment. Yeah, right!

Just as the claims are near impossible to verify, they are equally difficult to disprove.

IMO the modern engine running on modern oil doesn't need such additives and who keeps a vehicle long enough to reap the benefits of it anyway if it did work. The major components, engine gearbox and diff on most modern vehicles will last until the car falls apart or it's value becomes so low a full tank of fuel is considered over capitalising.

I also noticed the "dipped" crankshaft still had orange rust in the hole at the front of it and there was no "dipping" line to suggest it had been immersed.

I remain sceptical about these products.

As for the fuel additive, I have no idea, but given the spin on the rest of the line up.........

All I can add to that, is that I put over 85,000 miles on my FJ running nothing but Yama-Lube 20w-40 and Castrol ACT-EVO X-TRA 4T 20w-50 (when Yamaha stopped selling the 20w-40); and the engine still ran like a champ with outstanding compression (checked at 83,000 miles).

Your mileage may vary.
