Hi there
Just bought a 1TX today - 1986 with 50000 miles on it.  Looking to renovate it, possibly convert to 17" wheels but other than that - it will stay standard.
Need to change the oil... any recommendations?

Hi tonyf,
Given the sustained cooler temperatures in Wales
a 10W/40 with a good detergent package would be the go.

Hi Tony, anywhere near Wrexham?

OIL.......from my experience, change it regularly (I do mine every 5000km.... Castrol GTX 20W50)....... Find out what the previous owner was using and stick to it. I've found that changing oil type/brand/whatever can result in clutch slip.

Welcome to the clubhouse mate.

FJZ1 1200 - It'll do me just fine.
