Got a line on a full front end from 2010 R1 (wheel w/ rotors, 6 pot brakes, usd legs, worn out tire, triples w/bearings).  Would it fit a 1995 FJ1100?  How would I set up controls (Guessing would need to set up risers, which is OK by my, want to do custom, ergo anyhow).

You would likely need to extend the R1 fork legs.
You would need to find and install an other speedometer since there is no speedo drive on the R1
You might need to replace the steering stem with an FJ stem - this will require a press and likely also require welding.
And, you would need to install risers to accomodate handlebars.

And, there may have been some 'left over' 93s sold in '95 they were 1200s.
Perhaps you meant to type 1985.

What year did the R-1 go to the big piston design?
I've heard that the taper of the tube does not fit in the lower triple.
