I think it looks good, but might be a tad too much white and gray (although in the pic both sections look white). I have some black vinyl dye and will probably use it on the rear/gray portion of the seat.

The glass is not half full, it was engineered with a 2X safety factor.

I think it's a good look on the bike; I'd leave the color as is. At least try it for awhile.
