does anyone know what this sensor is? (its in the back of the speedometer )

it is a speed limit sensor?
how motorcycle behaves if I interrupt circuit (or remove this)?

Thats the sensor for turn signal auto cancel.  Mine works & cuts off the turn signal after 2 or 3 tenths of a mile.
