I have been looking at bearings if you have looked at my other posts.
I was alarmed to say the least when I found that the sprocket carrier bearing has the part number 6206 on it (albeit on the black seal).
If you have changed your sprocket carrier bearing and used this part number your bearing is not correct, the rear spindle has a OD of 28mm BUT the 6206 bearing has a ID of 30mm therefore the bearing is only acting as a spacer not even touching the spindle.

If this is old news that's fine would rather be going on about it than people not knowing.

Pretty sure it's supposed to be a 62/28.  Measurements are 58mm OD, 28mm ID, 16mm wide.

If you look at the Yamaha parts fiche it shows a 6205 bearing -- NOT the first time Yamaha listed a wrong bearing number for a wheel........caused me headaches on two different wheel swaps

What year R1 wheel are you running?  What swingarm?  What shock/linkage setup?

OK the cush drive bearing is 28mm ID 62mm OD and 16mm thick, as to the year of the wheel unknown but three spoke (will look for part numbers) swing arm is 2010 R1 big bang and the shock links I am in the process of making.   Russ

On my conversion (2008 R1) I have used all the stock shock linkage.  Shock is 2013 Honda CBR1000RR.
