Thanks Frank, I've really not had a chance to check it out thoroughly but the indicator is on the wrong side of the peg.
I've only ridden the bike twice, up and down the short road in front of my house, fastest thing I've ever ridden to date!. It runs strong but there are two things that bother me, a ticking and a metallic tinging (like a small bell) sound from the engine at low speeds and a dripping oil leak on the left side of the engine near the sprocket cover. I really wanted to work on it some today but it's a very chilly 29 degree's out there in the garage.

You probably don't need to be concerned with the ticking.  However, the "oil leak" near the countershaft is most likely the clutch slave.  This is pretty easy to fix after you get the clutch slave rebuild kit.
There are a few dealers who give us good prices and Randy (rpm@swaybar.com) is a list member and has a rebuild kit that also includes the spring.

Ticking may be a valve out of adjustment, or like mine, a leaking exhaust gasket at the head. Not sure on the bell sound.....earlier model OEM exhaust pipes had an inner and outer tube......they would rust through the inner and it would rattle around in the outer.....not sure if this is a possibility on your bike?
