Will that fit an 84 fj600? Can't really tell if its the same shape light. On that note, are there any threads or sites that show what would be interchangable between the two models?

RPM sells a great Smoked LED OEM styled twilight with integrated turn signals.

I checked out some FJ 600 tail lights on eBay, they don't look like FJ 1200 tail lights.

You might have some luck with switching to LED bulbs. But that gets into other potential issues. Resistors to control the flash rate, bulbs that are weak and do not increase lumens... Others have modified the tail light to take a bank of LEDs like the RPM product, it is nice and bright.

Try googling trailer light adapters to combine turn an tail lights.  The harness I'm running had one already wired in but needed to be redone to function properly.

FJ600 taillight is radically different from the 1200 and is a pretty unique shape. If you really wanted to go LED with it, you are probably looking at some custom work, gutting another LED taillight and hand-fitting the guts.

As to what interchanges between the Big FJ and Little FJ - valve stem caps. Probably light bulbs.

The 600 and the 1200 are very different bikes. FJ600 is closer to the XJ line, and the immediate predecessor of the Seca II/Diversion.
