Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely, in an attractive & well preserved body...but rather to slide in sideways, body completely worn out and and with your last dying breath screaming, "HOOOYA LIFE, lets try that again"!!!

I see my new work schedule puts May 16th right in the middle of one of my 3 day x 12 hours shift periods. I: 1) don't want to drop 12 hours of income and 2) need every hour of rest before and after each day.
Being the relative new guy and not knowing anyone else there to trade shifts, it will be a slim chance of getting away for the clinic, unless I am allowed to put in some extra make up days before that.
If someone wants to see any images I refer to in posts, first check my gallery here. If no bueno, send me a PM. More than glad to share.

Too bad you can't make it Charlie. Hopefully we can all make it out to the camp out in August.

I will be attending on a fj and hopefully one with an rpm rear shock.

I thought about it for a few days and said 'screw it', I'm going. I do so little outside of work I owe it to myself to get out. And I really want to know more about clutches. Well, about MY clutch - So I put in a request for LOA at work - yet to be approved but so far I haven't heard objections. We had that nice spell of weather this last weekend and for some reason they had a pile of people calling in sick :) At least I don't pull shit like that.
The continental shift leaves half the month free anyway to pick a day to make it up.

Sooo..... what time are you expecting to get things rolling in the garage? Last year when I showed up the valve adjusting was already well under way. I don't want to miss step one for the clutch.

Good question Charlie regarding the start time. I suppose we should start the clutch at say 10 A.M. That way everyone should have enough time to get here and have a coffee etc. There will be plenty of room and time to do some other maintenance as well. We have plenty of bikes and motors to work on.

Great news, charlie, great news! :yahoo: :drinks:

You'll like the fj clutch, ... nice and easy.

Hmmmm. I was just thinking... We *should* have a clutch cover gasket available for each clutch we open up... just in case...  :bomb:
I should have an extra, or 2 here, i will bring.

fj johnnie

Good idea Wags. I have a complete clutch here as well. In case it is needed.

I will be getting home from work about 730 am, hopefully leave Scarberia by 830, get there 10 ish.  I'm squeezed for time to get the bike together, but I should be able to ....  :pardon:  Hard to convince the wife what the priorities are.  Mow the lawn - dig up dandelions - groceries - WTF!  :ireful:

It sounds like we're in the same boat. I got home about that time yesterday after two 12's and just slept the rest of Friday to recuperate. Bike is still in the shed waiting to see me. But no garden for me but the apartment is getting rather warm today so I should get outside and get 'er done.
