Mark,
Glad you got out of that one relatively unscathed. :negative:

There is a reason that I never attend "Charity Rides".
They are most often filled with inexperienced "Parade" riders. You add rain into the mix, and usually disaster ensues. Besides, I ride for only one person............Myself.
I don't ride with large groups..........Period!  Riders, and rider ability are too difficult to keep track of.
If I ride with a group, it is usually 8-10 riders tops, and only if i know them.
Ideal group is 5-6 preferred.

Glad noone got hurt, and the bike looks like an easy fix.  :drinks:

Glad to hear your bike cleared pre-flight .  You could use magic markers to color in the rash until paint is available. :pardon:

I even showed up to a rally once with colored duct tape and stickers over the damage on my FJ .  :wacko3:

Nobody gave me crap they offered parts and sympathy. :empathy3:

I am considering on leaving the "Battle Scars" there as a reminder. Could change my mind on that though - It's a  "Captains prerogative" to change his mind (Captain James T. Kirk - Star Trek).

Yeah , the battle scars add character to the bike and are sure to start a conversation ....this one time at band camp....
