RPM header is so bitchen

My wife fulfilled my Christmas wishes and bought me the RPM exhaust system for Christmas. I had a V&H header prior and I had to drop the complete header oil every time I changed the oil. I have been doing this for more than fifteen years.

Well, I installed the RPM system and I was very impressed how easy the installation was. You install the head fittings, slide the head pipes on, clip four springs. Slip on the mid pipe & muffler an few more springs and install the muffler strap. I used to struggle with the V&H header as you had to hold the system up to the head while trying to align all four head flanges. I learned long ago to silicone the gaskets in because they were always falling out while I was trying to bolt up the V&H.

So, not only did I have to drop the header for every oil change, I had the expense of four new gaskets each time.

Today, I did my first oil change with the RPM header and I can actually say changing the oil was enjoyable for the first time since I bought my FJ. Since there was no additional work of removing the header because of the drain plug access, the oil change literally took me less than 10 minutes where it used to take me more than an hour each time.

I want to thank Randy for the perfect header for my FJ and making the thought of changing the oil not such a chore. The system looks great, sounds even better and the thought & design Randy incorporated in the RPM is awesome.

Plus, the damn thing is so light it still amazes me when I pick the system up, fucken amazing
