Oil filter adapter...

Tiger

Once again, Randy at RPM has come through with the goodies :yahoo:

One of the early upgrades that I did to my '85 FJ1100 was to purchase and install an RPM spin on/off oil filter adapter kit...An easy, quick, inexpensive, very worth while addition. It makes for easy, clean, inexpensive oil filter changes

Fast forward to March 2015 and I have acquired a '92 FJ1200...which now awaits pick up from Paul in Napanee. When I get her home, I have another RPM spin on/off oil filter adapter kit ready and waiting for installation :good2:

Double thumbs up to Randy and his crew... :good2:

John.
Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely, in an attractive & well preserved body...but rather to slide in sideways, body completely worn out and and with your last dying breath screaming, "HOOOYA LIFE, lets try that again"!!!

Geez how many fjs  does a guy need?

fj johnnie

I think Tiger has two and you have three, so..... The correct number is N+1, where N is the current number you already own. It also seems to me that you are always trolling Kijiji like the rest of us so, that number of yours will change too. Just wait.....

Spares! It's all about SPARES!

Ever step out for a ride, and the tire's flat? It's good to have a spare.

Try to start the bike, and it won't start. Good to have a spare.

Friend from out-of-state visiting? Good to have a spare. (bike)

Can't decide between a 3CV and a 3XW? Have one of each!

Misplaced your favourite bike? Good to have a spare.

Need? No one NEEDS any. Want? That's an entirely different thing.

I have spares but how the %&@# does one insure them both without selling the farm up here! Would be a dream for me have two or more bikes insured.

I am convinced one can not have too many FJs. The limiting factor on the number of FJs, the wife. I am hoping the central rally changes this. She is excited about going to South Dakota.

Yes Randy's oil filter adapter is a great mod!

Keep all of your bikes the same color and the missus will think you're taking the one bike out of the garage, as long as she never goes in there.

Worked for someone I know who had all yellow RC planes, about 15 of them.
If someone wants to see any images I refer to in posts, first check my gallery here. If no bueno, send me a PM. More than glad to share.

A pistol is like a parachute, if you need one and don't have one you will never need one again.

My daughter was looking in the garage and asked my wife'" How many bikes does dad have?". " Who knows", she answered.
That was like saying "Go get another!". Which I did. A GTS 1000. 93. Now I need a bigger shop.

fuel80guy

Sorry but I'm done at 3 fjs.
