I swear it's something in the water.  Thankfully I've been immune since I have been here my whole life.  Watched a lot of Star Trek as a kid and ended up taking after Mr. Spock in a lot of was.

They are not the first to get pointed onto that road.. They were lucky, others have died out there when they got stuck.  People have no idea how harsh the environment is in the central and eastern part of the state.

Should have been here earlier in the week.  Had a little bit of a snow fall. Shut the entire city down.  Gridlock traffic for hours on end, dozens of multiple vehicle accidents.  Interstate 5 was a parking lot for almost 25 miles.  I stayed at work later into the evening and it still took me almost 2 hours to drive 6 miles home.

Yes.. the plan is to get the hell outta here.. This place gets worse by the day.. Just have to find the right jumping off point..

I believe he's referring to people blindly following directions as laid out by their GPS units in the dead of winter...in Oregon.

Klavdy hid the link in the first part of his message.  Click on "Stupidity is Contagious".

I also saw an article on a guy in a neighboring city that has people coming down his driveway because their Garmin GPS units tell them there is a street that runs through his property.  He's put up signs, gates, etc saying "Private Property, No through street", etc and people just drive onto his property get pissed/confused and turn around.

A little bleach in the gene pool isn't enough anymore.  I think we need to move up to Sarin Gas or something similar...
