wow, what a bike you scored there ! .. It is gonna be fun playing with her.

You are gonna have to ride her before you give a name.  might end up with "the white knuckler"

Great name Mark....fantastic........in fact incredibly clever......I am more than impressed........and I am betting that The General may be the only other one to have caught it.......I am even wondering if you did by accident......or by design....... "Canuck" is another word for Canadian.....so you really have me scratching my head  :scratch_one-s_head:. The only.....and I mean only downer for this epic name......is the fact that CanD has her own vanity plate......and the new girl might get a bit jealous....you know how some girls get......

Yes , that was on purpose .

You are causing a debate here at my place as my wife and I are trying to come up with names for your new beauty .
She believes the FJ has the colors of a Candy Cane similar to the colors of a nurse so her idea is to call her "Candy Cane" or" Candy Stripper" AKA "The Nurse" .
Since the 86 is known for the ambulance colors , you could have a nurse.

Don't know if you have them in Canada but here in the states a Candy Stripper (as in stripe-r) is a medical volunteer at hospitals and usually a very pretty college age girl who attends to your needs when you are a patient.

Kinda a play on the name of your first one so she won't get jealous if they are sisters.  :good:

I vote for "Snowblind"   :good2:

"You devil in white...you stole my will without a fight..."

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CSXTu-WllZ8

dang Ron...bringing up Snowblind takes me back to those other great songs like.. "Snowblind Friend"...and the crazy times in those days...it's kinda amazing that being a country singer/writer Hoyt Axton wrote "Snowblind Friend" & "The Pusher" by Steppenwolf...also "Joy to the World", "Never Been to Spain", "Jeremiah was a Bullfrog" for 3 Dog Night, "No-No Song" for Ringo and "Della and the Dealer" & "Boney Fingers", etc., etc.

the Steppenwolf version: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OMxCi3ljWEgs ...Also, Hoyt's Mother, Mae Axton co-wrote "Heartbreak Hotel" by Elvis.

I didn't intend to raid your new bike party Kevin!!  sorry about that!!! With you being a musician I hope you enjoyed an extra song and some muse from the days gone by brother...Congrats again on a beauty bike...Peace

:shok:....WOW......I am overwhelmed by all the love....I have missed you guys  :cray:. There were some great ideas floating around but I have decided on "Snowy" for several reasons......1. Her colour 2. She looks cool 3. She is Canadian and there's plenty of that white powder up here (easy Trav....different kind of powder  :mocking:) 4. The five letters will fit on a bike license plate 5. And finally.....the last time I rode an FJ ("The Blue Tuna") I was in Snowy River, Jindabyne, NSW, Australia.....so with all these factors...I am sticking with "Snowy"  :drinks:. Mark however will get full Marks for "White knuckler".......I still think you fluked it... :shout:..... Very clever !!!  As for Yeti.....(nice one Flips .....  I know you meant Yowie....  ).....this was pretty cool too..... but it's Snowy for the Snowman !!Thanks for all the time spent and great suggestions !!!  :drinks:
I am not sure about the last listing Sabre...I know the previous owner sold it to a bike shop in Ottawa a few years back and I contacted the shop and asked that they contact me if they ever decide to part with it.....and they did so now Kev's Ranch shall be her new home ....  :good:
Thanks again for all the love...... and Lou....you can never step on my toes using music !!!! Keep em coming......!!!!!!  (popcorn)
Kev
PS.....I am looking forward to hitting some Rallys this year......hope to see many of you along the way

Really nice...not too original but appropriate..."White Lightening"

It really is touch to beat red/white or in this case white/red!

"the white knuckler"

I'd just go with knuckles or whatever will fit on the plate...  innuendo is good IMHO.

Beautiful bike Kev...  I'll be curious to see if you can wheelie it with that extended arm (F'ing cool looking BTW).  Bringing it to WCR?

Awesome bike!

Before you start changing it up -- do you know it has some history?

Cool find brother......everything about Snowy is going to be cool....I am loven this !!  :drinks:  .  I actually know the second owner...we are good friends. I met him 2 years ago when he first put it for sale in here....when I found it, Jeff MacDonald (from Ottawa) had already found a buyer....a shop called Richmond Motorsports. I contacted Len the owner and it turned out that he purchased it for his own personal use. I asked him to call me first if he ever decided to part with it. So while I was down in Cancun just 2 weeks ago, I got the email from Len....so when I came home I arranged a sale with him immediately. Len only rode it twice since he bought it.....too busy with the shop and he has 8 other bikes.
When I first contacted Jeff, we struck up an instant bond and friendship and now we are great friends......He contacted me today to let me know that he has some more goodies for Snowy......infact we will meet up once I head there to get her......Jeff is a great guy and though we have never met in person....I feel like we have been friends a billion years before the oceans rolled. Nice to connect with a kindred spirit in this life !!  :good:
