Has anyone had experience with this mob, Pyramid.

I think I have used them in the past, according to my aging grey matter, without problems. I was about to order a fork seal kit, for FJ1200, from them and noticed they had quite a bit of neg feedback.

My FJ has their fork seals and steering head bearings. Just returned from a 6500km 2 week ride in south island of New Zealand . Some pretty hard roads on the suspension and no issues.  A lot of the negative feedback you see on the net about seals etc I think are from people who may not have the skills to be replacing parts like that , just my opinion. Anyway bought amany parts from Pyramid never has any issues  :good2:

I fitted a set of them in 2012 and only replaced them recently because I rebuilt the forks with new bushes, RPM valves, etc.. They were still leak free at the time so can't complain about the quality.

Too young to be old but old enough to know better.

From the picture it looks like a triple lip, double sprung seals, same as Yamaha uses. Many times the aftermarket was identical to the factory part. Not that many places making the seals, is my guess. The bushings wear out and the seals start leaking, people blame the seals.

Hi Krusty, just read your post so this is probably to late but I ordered some parts from them and they never turned up. I think almost all of their parts are shipped from New Zealand these day's and they seem quite slow, more than likely budget shipping options.
Make sure you obtain a shipping/tracking number from them as I should have.
They refunded my money by the way...
Cheers Timbo.
Life's been good to me so far....

krusty

thanks Timbo. I think it'll be ok as I have checked back on a few things I've bought and found a few from them and have been no trouble so far.
